In Los Angeles county a Centralized Eligibility List (LA CEL) has been created to help connect low-income families to needed
services. Enrollment is based on available space and ranked by household income. You must register with the LA CEL in order
to receive subsidized services. Click here for an application and more information: http://ceo.lacounty.gov/ccp/pdf/CEL%2006/EN/CEL%20Registration%20Form-july06.pdf.
We only enroll children who
are registered on the LA CEL. Waiting time varies, depending on our enrollment. There may be an immediate opening...or a wait
of weeks or months.
Q: How do I get on the waiting list?
A: LA CEL applications are also available at our main office, at 501 Atlantic Ave. You do not need an
appointment, but please arrive before 5:30 p.m. Our receptionist will register your family on the LA CEL.
Q: What will my child learn?
A: Your child will learn to interact with adults and other children in
individual and group settings. We provide a variety of activities that support physical, cognitive, social and creative skills.
Our curriculum is age-appropriate and is based on the individual needs of each child. We work to prepare your child
to enter kindergarten ready to interact, learn and succeed.
Q: Do I provide any food for my child?
A: No.
Our Food Program provides nutritious meals (formula for infants) and snacks for all children. Preschoolers receive a hot meal.
Children in childcare (including infants) receive a hot breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.

A: Yes! You are welcomed and encouraged to come observe your
child at any time. You do not need an appointment.
Q: May I volunteer?
